Mudbugs & Mulligans event returns May 15 while raffle offers chance to win 2026 golf cart
CASA of Walker, San Jacinto & Trinity County is inviting the community to take part in two upcoming fundraisers designed to support children in foster care, including a crawfish boil and a golf cart raffle.
The organization’s 2nd Annual Mudbugs & Mulligans Crawfish Boil will return May 15 with expanded access, as tickets are now open to the public.
The event will be held at Wischnewsky Dodge, located at 151 Interstate 45 in Huntsville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and include all-you-can-eat crawfish with traditional fixings, beverages, a dessert auction and live entertainment.
Music for the evening will feature The Chip Oliphant Band and the Buford Snowden Acoustic Show. Food will be prepared by The Big E-Z Crawfish & Oyster Bar, while beverages will be provided by Faust Distributing, Stevenson Distributing, Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Raising Cane’s.
The event is limited to guests ages 21 and older, and outside drinks are not permitted. Sponsors include Iron Brothers Metals and Wischnewsky Dodge.

Organizers say proceeds from the event will directly benefit CASA’s mission of advocating for children in foster care.
In addition to the crawfish boil, CASA is also hosting a Golf Cart Raffle, giving participants a chance to win a 2026 Denago Nomad XL golf cart.
Raffle tickets are priced at $25 each or five for $100. The winner will be drawn May 16 during CASA’s Mudbugs & Mulligans Golf Classic. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Event organizers said tickets are selling quickly and encouraged early participation.
Proceeds from the raffle will also support CASA’s work with children who have experienced abuse or neglect, helping ensure they have a voice in court and access to safe, permanent homes.
