Sketches to Sparkles Contest Returns to Transform Kids' Art into Jewelry

Elliott’s Jewelers and CASA of Walker County invite young artists to submit designs for a custom jewelry piece valued up to $3,000.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — The second annual Sketches to Sparkles Jewelry Design Contest is now open, allowing children ages 5 to 12 to turn their artwork into a stunning custom jewelry piece. Sponsored by Elliott’s Jewelers and benefiting CASA of Walker County, the contest helps foster creativity while supporting advocacy for children in foster care.

Submissions may include any original artwork—drawings, paintings, or doodles—and must be entered by Monday, April 28 at 5:00 p.m. The winning design will be professionally recreated into a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece, valued up to $3,000.

The entry fee is $5 per design, and participants can enter through several options:

  • Download the form below and complete the entry form, then drop it off at the CASA office at 2515 Pine Shadows Drive in Huntsville.
  • Visit the All About Kids Expo on Saturday, April 26 at the Huntsville Church of Christ and stop by the Jewelry Design Creativity Booth.
  • Email the artwork to l.green@casaofwalkercounty.org and submit payment online.

Last year’s contest drew dozens of entries, with 10-year-old Sarah Eunice Santos selected as the winner. Her heartfelt design was transformed into a wearable keepsake, capturing the spirit of imagination and family through the lens of jewelry artistry.
