Rodney Wayne Roberts

It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Wayne Roberts, age 57, announce his sudden passing on September 7, 2025. Rodney was born on April 15, 1968 in Houston, TX to John and Cassie Roberts. Rodney was known for his kindness and generosity toward everyone. He was willing to help anyone with anything. He was so talented in so many ways. Rodney could fix anything that needed repairing and did so with ease. Rodney took pride in the fact that he was able to serve our country in the United States Army. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rodney is survived by his mother, Cassie Mebes and step-father Alan Mebes; wife Tina Roberts; siblings John W Roberts, Jason W Roberts, Crystal Wardrup and Amber Westerman; step-siblings Gregg Mebes and Gretchen Svee; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John W Roberts; maternal grandparents W.E. and Peggy Whitmire; fraternal grandparents John B and Maggie Roberts. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, TX.
