Linda Diann McDaniel

Linda Diann Adamick McDaniel, 78, of Willis, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2026. Linda was born on May 16, 1947, to Phillip and Rena Adamick. She lived her entire life in Willis, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and community. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, her parents, and a sister. Linda is survived by her daughters, Leslie Wright and husband Rob, and Dezarai Martinez; her daughter-in-law, Ellen Weldon; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Linda was a business owner and served as a commissioned peace officer. However, what she enjoyed most was her work with Willis ISD, where she loved her co-workers and the students she served. Her most cherished role, though, was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She found great joy in sitting on the porch, drinking coffee with her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda was also a faithful member of Waverly Station Cowboy Fellowship. The family welcomes you to join them for visitation at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, at 10:00 a.m., with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m.
