In Loving Memory of Leman Ray Hargrove With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dad. Leman Ray Hargrove, on July 8, 2026. He was a devoted husband who loved his wife dearly. He never forgot to bring roses and always had a funny card ready for birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. He was an extra special grandpa who loved doing the “Doo Diddle Doo” any opportunity he had. He showed up at games for his grandsons, but most of all, he loved teaching them to fish and sharing his love for the outdoors. Living on a houseboat for 18 years was an amazing place for his grandchildren to learn how to fish fry, bait a hook, and enjoy the outdoors. The memories were endless. One of the happiest chapters of his life was when he and his wife shared their time at Palms Marina, where they made countless cherished memories and lifelong friendships. Summer will miss Dad’s morning coffee trips to the marina. His daily presence and warm spirit touched all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Kimberly and Dana; his grandchildren, Cullen, Tanner, Colby, and Stetson; and his sons-in-law, Mike and Gary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Nelly Hargrove, and his sister, Debbie.

He is survived by his sisters, Joyce and Mary; his brother, Carroll, and his wife, Joyce; his sister, Cheryl, and her husband, Ray. While our hearts grieve his loss, we find comfort knowing he is at peace and in God’s loving presence. A celebration of his life will be held on July 20, 2026 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Willis, Texas.
