Obituary

Donna Fay Konieczny entered heaven peacefully to be with Jesus on March 9, 2026, after a 6-month journey and battle with pancreatic cancer. She fought to the end with family and friends surrounding her daily at her side cheering her on. As much as she could mom-maintained grace, compassion and kindness, appreciating the love that surrounded her daily. Moms’ life can best be incapsulated by family, friends, flowers, food and fun. In her short 66 years here on earth, she undoubted lived her life to the fullest.

Family was very important to mom she was one of seven siblings growing up in Houston Texas. She married young and was ready to start a family of her own. With her first-born Justin mom expressed her love to him by coaching him through little league baseball. With her daughter Jessica, she encouraged her through music and dance. With her son Jonathon focused on getting him through school, making passing grades and receiving his diploma. Mom was no stranger to anyone; she was very outgoing and the life of the party making friends everywhere she went. From small gatherings to large gatherings to going on cruises and hunting excursions and preparing meals for those who she loved. Some of her closest friends came from a Singles group that she started and grew quite large. Later in life she found a passion for bowling and connected quickly with friends alike. Early on mom found a passion for flowers volunteering her time in floral shops. She never passed up an opportunity to create a floral arrangement.

She enjoyed the outdoors and its beauty, always finding time to stop and take a picture with the bluebonnets. You would always find her outside working in her garden. Mom loved to cook and she was good at it. If she loved you, she fed you. She lived an adventurous life always willing to jump on a cruise. She traveled to many places including Mexico, Alaska, Germany, France, Switzerland, and always finding her way back to Colorado.

She loved her family vacations to Rockport Texas where you would find her fishing and crabbing from sunup to sun down. She looked forward to hunting season and her weekly outings to the bowling alley. Donna expressed gratitude for her life well lived all the way to the end. Her relationship with Jesus was always important to her. She shared her visions of Heaven in her last days and she spoke of Beautiful White horses, men in white clothing bowing their heads, and joyful children everywhere. Donna Fay Konieczny leaves behind her partner Marty Roberts her Children Justin McIntonsh, wife Haydee, Jessica Hileman and husband Grant, Jon McIntosh and wife Jackie, Don Francis, and wife Paula. Grandchildren: Jose Vazquez, Anna Rodriguez, Maria Rodriguez, Mikayla Francis, Christian Francis, Angelica Francis, Duane Francis, Parker Hileman, Marlee McClendon, Daylin Hileman, Grant Abrams, Thomas Hileman, Addison Abrams, Elli McIntosh, Violette McIntosh, Zane McIntosh. Great Grandchildren: Siriah, Bryson, Vania, Max, Destiny, Sophia, Reese, and Silas. Siblings: Sandy Heinrich, Joyce Laurence, Charles Konieczny, Lonnie Konieczny. Preceding her in death is Mother Leona McVicar , father CJ Konieczny, Pops Bill McVicar, Husband Duane Francis, Brothers Ronnie and James Konieczny, Step daughter Robin Francis.
