Cloyd Harrison Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on December 16, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Cloyd Harrison Sr. and Mary Hayes.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Addie (Cookie), daughters Brandy Coleman and her husband Ken, Christy Koteras and her husband Troy, and son John Harrison; grandchildren Victoria Rice and her husband Jeremy, Kenneth Coleman III and his wife Sarah, Dylan Koteras, and Kaitlyn Goodman and her husband Korey; great-grandchildren Zoey Rice, Wesley Coleman, Finley Coleman, and Alivia Rice; sisters Debra Foster and her husband Edward, and Katy Kristek as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Cloyd Harrison Sr., Mary Hayes and her husband Jessie Hayes, sisters Birdie Stommel and Patty Guarino. Cloyd will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. A visitation will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 12 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Brooke Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
