In Loving Memory of Brian It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Michael McDougald, 45, who passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife, Brittany, his three daughters, Zoe, Lauren, and Savannah, and his precious grandson, Knox. For 20 wonderful years, Brian was a devoted husband to Brittany. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Their marriage was rooted in friendship, strength, and a deep love that carried them through every season of life. Brian was an incredibly proud father to Zoe, Lauren, and Savannah. His daughters were his greatest accomplishment, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Becoming Pawpaw to his grandson, Knox, was one of the greatest joys of his life. Knox was the light of his world, and every moment they spent together became a treasured memory. Brian was a hardworking truck driver who took immense pride in his work.

He loved life on the open road and found peace behind the wheel. Outside of work, he enjoyed rodeos, mudding, and making memories with the people he loved most. He lived with determination, a generous heart, and a spirit that could brighten any room. He was an amazing son, a loving brother, a cherished nephew, a caring cousin, and a loyal friend. Brian was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His heart, strength, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family touched countless lives. Although cancer took him far too soon, it never took away his courage, faith, or love. He faced every challenge with quiet strength, and in his final moments, he was surrounded by the family he loved beyond measure. Brian leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, hard work, loyalty, and unforgettable memories. He will be forever missed by his wife, Brittany; his daughters, Zoe, Lauren, and Savannah; his treasured grandson, Knox; and the many family members and friends who were blessed to know him. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that his love will continue to guide us. His memory will live on in every family gathering, and every story that begins with, “Remember when Brian…” Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever our hero. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas at 10:00 AM and a memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM.
