Obituary

Anna, loving known as “Banana,” was born in Willis, Texas on February 28, 1960, and passed away on April 7, 2026. She lived a life marked by deep kindness, unwavering faith, and a love that reached far beyond her own family. Though she did not have children of her own, Anna became a mother to many. She offered guidance, comfort, and a sense of belonging to everyone who knew her. Her home was always open, and her heart even more so.

Anna was always the first to step forward when someone was in need. Whether it was a warm meal, a place to stay, or simply a listening ear, she gave freely and without hesitation. She was known for opening her deep freezer and sharing whatever she had, making sure no one around her went without. To know Anna was to experience generosity in its purest form. Anna and David shared a true and lasting love, built on devotion, partnership, and commitment through every season of life.

They were married and remained deeply devoted to one another through out their entire journey together. David faithfully stood by her side, especially through the hardest times, including her illness and when she became bedbound. Their love remained steady, tender, and unshaken. Her home, shared with David, was filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories for many. Children especially remember hurrying over, excited to see what new candy might be waiting in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator- a small but meaningful tradition that reflected her joy in giving.

Anna’s sister, Bebe, cared for her with deep love and devotion. She was always by Anna’s side, offering comfort, support, and steady presence through every stage of her care. Her dedication was a reflection of the string bond they shared. Above all, Anna loved Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life and was reflected in the way she treated others- with compassion, humility, and a nurturing spirit.

She touched countless lives not through grand gestures, but through everyday acts of love that made people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Anna’s legacy is one of unconditional love, generosity, and faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
