Entries open for Texas getaway package featuring concert tickets, hotel stay and dining experiences
HUNTSVILLE, Texas — The Boys & Girls Club of Walker County is offering the community a chance to win a Texas-themed weekend experience centered around country music legend George Strait, while raising funds for local youth programs.
The giveaway features a multi-part prize package highlighted by two floor tickets to Strait’s final Austin show in 2026, which will include a performance by Carter Faith. The winner will also receive an autographed George Strait cowboy hat.
Full weekend experience package
The Austin portion of the prize includes a one-night stay at the Royal Sonesta Stephen F. Austin Hotel and dinner for two at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in downtown Austin.
Additional experiences extend into the Lake Livingston area, including a one-night Lagoon Ranch getaway in Onalaska with a choice of an RV site or cabin stay. The package also includes dinner for six at Pit Row Pit Stop and a $150 gift card to Cavender’s Boot City.
