HUNTSVILLE, Texas — The Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce is overflowing with gratitude after the 51st Annual Fair on the Square brought one of the largest and most vibrant crowds in the event’s history. From the start of the day until the final song played, the downtown streets came alive with community pride, local flavor, and small-town hospitality.

Thousands of residents and visitors browsed colorful vendor booths, sampled delicious food, enjoyed live entertainment, and supported local businesses. The Chamber thanked attendees, sponsors, and especially volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the 2025 celebration possible.

“Your support helped make 2025 our best year yet,” the Chamber wrote. “From the vibrant booths and delicious food to the live entertainment and community spirit, this year’s Fair on the Square was a true celebration of Huntsville and Walker County. We could not have done it without the incredible energy and dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our sponsors, and the enthusiasm of every visitor who came out to enjoy the day.”

The Chamber noted that the Fair’s success continues a long-standing tradition of local pride and connection that has defined Huntsville for more than half a century. Planning is already underway for next year’s event, which is expected to be even bigger and better.

Chamber Events Keep Members Engaged

The Chamber continues to offer a full calendar of networking and professional development opportunities through events such as Small Business Breakfasts, Lunch & Learns, Business After Hours, and Ribbon Cuttings. Members are encouraged to RSVP for events by clicking the “I’m attending” buttons found in their Chamber communications.

These events provide valuable opportunities for business owners and community leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another while strengthening the local economy.

Member Spotlight: Sentry Security Co.

This month’s Member Spotlight shines on Sentry Security Co., a locally owned business that provides innovative technology and security solutions to protect homes and businesses throughout Huntsville and the surrounding area.

Located at 1409 Avenue M in Huntsville, Sentry Security specializes in burglary alarm systems, access control, video surveillance, networking, whole-home audio, and Starlink installations. The company’s leadership said Chamber membership has been instrumental in expanding connections and visibility.

“Our Chamber membership has been a tremendous asset in helping us connect with fellow business owners and community leaders,” they shared. “We value being part of a group that not only supports local businesses but also works to grow and enrich our community.”

Networking Groups Offer Valuable Referrals and Support

The Chamber’s Preferred Partners and Leads Exchange groups continue to thrive, meeting weekly at 8 a.m. in the Chamber conference room. These referral-based networking groups are designed to help local professionals share business leads, gain management advice, and find community support.

Each group encourages single-profession participation to ensure members receive exclusive opportunities to represent their field. Applications are required, and interested members can contact the Chamber office for more information.

In addition, volunteers are invited to join key committees, including DIVA Night, Chamber Clay Classic, Fair on the Square, Annual Gala, and Promoting Our Positives (POP). The Chamber also maintains a Diversity Council, continuing its commitment to inclusion and community representation.
