First Baptist Church Huntsville Hosts Community Blood Drive on December 10

Free A1C screening and stocking stuffers for donors.

HUNTSVILLE, Texas – First Baptist Church will host a mobile blood drive on Wednesday,
December 10, 2025 from 1 PM to 7 PM, at 1229 Avenue J.

WHO: Gulf Coast Blood [GCB] is one of the largest community blood centers in the United States, serving 170 hospitals and healthcare facilities in a 26-county area. The blood center relies on about 1,000 donations every day of the year to meet the demand for blood supply. This year GCB celebrates 50 years of saving lives!

WHAT: Mobile drives make it convenient to donate in the Huntsville area. Rolling up your sleeve to donate one pint of blood can save up to three lives. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion. Each year, 4.2 million Americans will need a blood transfusion.

WHEN: Donations slots are available on the quarter hour from 1 PM through 6:45 PM. Although walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred.
