Dunkin’ Donuts planned for Walmart location in Huntsville
Plans appear to be moving forward for a Dunkin’ Donuts location inside the Walmart along Interstate 45 in Huntsville.
According to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a project titled “Walmart 285-253 Huntsville, TX Dunkin Donuts Tenant” has been officially registered at 141 Interstate 45 South.
The project involves interior renovations to accommodate a new food tenant within the existing Walmart building. State records list approximately 14,739 square feet of remodeled space with an estimated project cost of $215,000. Construction is scheduled to begin April 12, 2026, with completion anticipated by July 30, 2026.
The work is privately funded and will take place on private property for private use. The property owner is listed as Wal Mart Stores Texas LLC. Architectural design services are being provided by Cyntergy of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the registered accessibility specialist for the project is Landy Perkins.
